Nature Media:

Polar Bear Fever

Polar Bear Fever

The CBC features the newest animal rock star in this DocZone documentary: The Polar Bear. The filmmakers follow Polar Bear paparazzi who have caught "polar bear fever". This animal has become the posterchild for global warming and climate change, as it's habitat is being effected rapidly. Suddenly, photographs of these beautiful beasts are in high demand, and this documentary follows those brave souls who seek that elusive imagery each year. A fantastic film and a wonderful story of a majestic animal in peril. Watch the full length video here. You can also check out the website of one these photographers, and the portion of the film he is in where one Polar Bear plays with a Huskie!

Smithsonian's Nature Best

Smithsonian's Nature Best

The 2006 edition of the Smithsonian's Nature's Best has some beautiful photographs of nature's majesty. It is amazing how beautiful nature, undisturbed, can be. As the medium of photography continues to progress into our greatest artform, photos like these become more detailed and more truthful than ever. This collection has some brilliant captures of nature behaving in it's element. Check it out here.
